MODERN RESEARCH METHODS

Modern Research Methods half-day, one-day, and two-days workshop introduce students, faculty members, and administrative staff to fundamental techniques of research methodologies, as well as scientific writing, scientific publication, scientific presentation skills, and pre-doctoral preparation. The workshop will show you how to generate novel idea for research, cultivating good literature analysis, and publishing your work to international journal. The workshop is tailored according to the problem faced by students as well as senior lecturers.

:: One-day workshop

  • Start up you academic research: 09:00 – 10:30 am.
    How to select your research topic? How to choose appropriate advisor? Where to find references and how to analyze the references. How to find scientific research gap. How to be productive in publication.
  • Crafting good research proposal: 10:45 – 12:00 pm.
    Pitfall of research proposal. Structure of research proposal. Outlining research problems, aims, and scope. How to create good story in your proposal. Planning your dissemination.
  • Scientific writing and presentation: 13:00-16:00 pm
    Motivation of writing. How to highlight your contribution. Structure of scientific paper. How to choose target journal for publication. How to present your finding in scientific conference. How to avoid plagiarism
